Other Related Functions The professional nurse contributes to the knowledge and skills of others, and the continuous improvement of the quality of health care practice and organizational outcomes. Included in this nursing area is a 10-bed Rehabilitation Unit which provides services between acute and long-term care. The patient care team researches patient lifestyle, function and mobility, and customizes care plans to return patients to their home setting. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
