Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client adherence to medication schedules.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe travel to appointments or community activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Qualifications

- Be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience in long-term care, home care, or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, including CPR certification is a plus.
- Ability to administer medications accurately and understand medication management protocols.
- Strong observational skills to monitor client health status effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and their families.
- Familiarity with developing care plans that address individual client needs.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and respect for client dignity.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
